Hello everyone,
We have had a couple of cool windy days-not our usual July weather but the garden is doing well, so let's have a look!
The delphinium and John Cabot rose(above) look pretty together.

We have several varieties of Mock Orange in bloom now giving the garden a lovely fragrance.
Mock Orange
Clematis and a hanging basket
The foxglove did well this year.

there are still peonies blooming in the garden.

Balcony views-a tall mock orange and a shorter variety below it perfume the house and garden.

The tall shrub blooming in the background is a Japanese Ivory Silk Lilac and it has a most beautiful fragrance that you can enjoy for quite a distance. The rose is a Snow Pavement and it also has a lovely fragrance and a pretty blush pink bloom.

I hope you enjoyed a little tour of the garden. To any Islanders out there-we will be having a fund raiser tour of the garden for a good cause in early August and I will keep you posted on further details soon.

We have a garden tour tomorrow and the sunshine is supposed to return-yea!

Visit Hakan if you would like to see more gardens.

I hope you all have a lovely weekend,

Carolyn
